What We Collect
When story submission is available, we collect what you choose to write about the lockout, your consent choices, basic form answers, and an optional email only if you choose to give one.
Story collection should not create a second privacy problem. This page has a short plain-language notice first, then a fuller privacy notice with more detail.
Last updated: June 15, 2026.
Short Privacy Notice
Here is the practical version in four questions: what we collect, what we do not collect, how we use it, and how deletion works.
When story submission is available, we collect what you choose to write about the lockout, your consent choices, basic form answers, and an optional email only if you choose to give one.
The story form is designed not to ask for names, schools, workplaces, account IDs, precise locations, government IDs, payment details, or file uploads.
We use submissions to review patterns, contact you only if you allow it, prepare anonymized story drafts when permitted, and support public advocacy after human review.
When anonymous submission is available, the form should show you a private receipt code. Keep it somewhere safe; it helps us find your submission if you later ask us to correct or delete it.
Full Privacy Notice
This fuller notice explains how story information, contact choices, publication consent, and correction or deletion requests are handled.
This notice explains how No AI Lockout handles information collected through this website and through story submissions when submission is available.
Story submission is currently closed. While it is closed, this site does not accept public story submissions through a live form.
Story information: what you write about an AI account suspension, restriction, termination, data access problem, appeal attempt, or related impact.
Form choices: platform/product category, approximate timing, appeal status, data access status, consent choices, quote/publication choices, and whether follow-up is allowed.
Optional contact information: an email address only if you choose to provide one. Anonymous submission should remain possible.
Security signals: limited anti-abuse information used to reduce spam or automated submissions. The intake design avoids storing raw IP addresses by default.
Receipt information: a protected version of a private receipt code used to help match later correction or deletion requests. The plain code should be shown to you, not stored by us in readable form.
The story form should not ask for your legal name, school name, workplace, account ID, exact address, precise location, government ID, payment card, password, or file uploads.
Please do not put private details about yourself or other people into the story unless you intentionally choose to share them for private project review.
If evidence uploads are ever offered, they will need separate privacy warnings, storage rules, moderation, and redaction checks.
Private review: to understand what happened and whether the submission fits the project scope.
Pattern analysis: to identify recurring issues such as vague notices, failed appeals, account access loss, or data export problems.
Follow-up: to contact you only if you gave an email and allowed follow-up.
Public advocacy: to publish only aggregated patterns, anonymized summaries, or quotes that your consent allows, after human review.
Drafting support: AI may help turn a submission into an anonymized draft only when the consent model allows it. AI must not auto-publish submissions.
Security and abuse prevention: to reduce spam, duplicate abuse, and unsafe submissions.
Submitting a story for private review is not the same as giving permission to publish it.
No real name, school, workplace, face, account ID, screenshot, or identifying detail should be made public without clear permission and human review.
If your consent choices are unclear, No AI Lockout should treat the submission as private.
No AI Lockout will not sell story submissions, contact information, or supporting materials.
No AI Lockout does not plan to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information may be shared with project reviewers, technical service providers needed to run the site or database, or others only when necessary for review, security, legal compliance, or a consented public use.
When anonymous story submission is available, submitters should receive a private receipt code. That code is meant to help identify a submission later without requiring a login or email.
If you provide an email, that email may also help verify a correction or deletion request.
A working correction and deletion request path will be listed before public story submission opens.
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive information uses, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
No AI Lockout does not sell personal information. If that changes, the site must update this notice and provide the required opt-out path before doing so.
Because this project is student-led, this notice may be updated as the project grows and as legal obligations are reviewed.
The form should warn people under 18 not to include full names, school names, home addresses, phone numbers, faces, or other details that could identify them.
The project should not knowingly publish identifying information about minors without careful review and explicit permission where appropriate.
This notice may change as the website, story submission process, and review workflow change.
The current version will be posted on this page with the update date above.
Correction And Deletion Requests
Story submission is currently closed. Before submission opens, this page will list the active request path. The wording below explains how requests will be handled once submissions are accepted.
Use the request path posted on this page. Include your private receipt code if you have one, or the email address you gave with your submission. Tell us whether you want a correction, deletion, or both.
We may ask for enough information to confirm which submission is yours. We will not ask for passwords, government ID, payment details, or account login information.
We will review the request, correct inaccurate information where possible, or delete the submission unless a limited record must be kept for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
If a story, quote, or anonymized summary based on your submission has been published, we will remove or update it when your request is verified and applies to that public material.
Request Wording
I want to request a correction or deletion of my No AI Lockout story submission. My private receipt code or contact email is: [your code or email]. I am requesting: [correction / deletion / both]. The details I want corrected or deleted are: [brief description].
